Hey guys. We are still doing well.
Cody picked up a part time job while we're waiting for the other stuff to come through. He's been submitted for hire at a credit union--we just have to wait to find out which branch he will go to. That job will be great for us. He has a second interview with another place on Monday and we're still waiting to hear on a third job where, at this point, no news is good news. So, i think we're in good shape.
I went to the hospital on Wednesday to get a shot to stop some early contractions. I'm fine now. I went to the doctor today and i'm measuring small so they did an ultrasound to check the baby's size. He's 5lbs 4 oz so we want him to do a little more growing before he makes his debut.
Mariah is so old now. It's like she turned 3 and now she knows she has to be responsible and follow directions. She goes down for naps and to bed without a fuss and stays in her bed all night. She's eating more, she cleans up after herself (most of the time) and she is just so helpful. I think she is ready to be a big sister. She doesn't think so though. Cody was telling her that she had to share mommy and daddy with the baby. She looked at him and said, "No, not YOU!" I guess she's fine sharing mommy. That's probably a good thing.

I'm so glad you are doing so well! We miss you... I know that sounds funny since we only see each other once a year, but it's different now that we really can't see you.
Thanks for posting again - I'm glad that things are going well. I heard about an amazing pizzeria in Phoenix, and had to pass it on. Pizzeria Bianco (http://www.pizzeriabianco.com/) was voted best pizza in the nation by Bon Appetit magazine, so it should be pretty good. It sure looked delicious!
I am so happy that Mariah appears to be ready to be a "big girl," and I'm sure that brings you peace. I still can't imagine having two kids...at the same time... :) But, soon enough.
I'm going to pray that you will have energy to unpack your house in preparation for your new baby. Wish I could help!
She is such a Daddy's girl! That will probably make life easier when the little guy gets here.
It's cute how some kids recognize how they are getting older and need to be more responsible. Giving up sippy cups, diapers, etc. Juma hit the shoe-tying age recently.
Keep that little guy inside, and we'll meet him this summer, I hope.
oh mariah. such a big girl. let's see some belly pics! i'm glad there is a good lead on a job for cody. i hope it all works out! we miss you guys!
Cute kid - good luck on the job hunt!
